Knauf insulation achieves groundbreaking Greentag™ Greenrate™ certification with level A rating – pioneering sustainability in Malaysia building insulation

Knauf insulation glasswool products with ECOSE® Technology and DriTherm® Technology, manufactured in our Malaysian plant in Johor Bahru, have once again achieved GreenTag™ GreenRate™ Level A certification. This affirms the exceptional status of Knauf Insulation glasswool products as the first and only in Malaysia to hold the prestigious GreenRate™ Level A certification.

GreenTag™ GreenRate™ Level A certification is a significant achievement for our glasswool products, emphasizing our sustainability and environmental benefits. This independent third-party certification from GreenTag™, a respected authority in green building and sustainable product ratings, is recognized by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC), under its official green recognition scheme - the MyHIJAU mark.

GreenTag is a significant achievement for our glasswool products, emphasizing our sustainability and environmental benefits. This independent third-party certification from GreenTag™, a respected authority in green building and sustainable product ratings, is recognized by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC), under its official green recognition scheme - the MyHIJAU mark.

To receive the GreenRate™ Level A rating, materials must undergo rigorous assessment and meet evidence-based criteria, ensuring that they and their suppliers meet the criteria to receive GreenTag™ certification.
